Critical FX says it’s a two-serving bottle…is that accurate?
A bottle of Critical FX is efficacious at two-servings – but many use it as a one-serving. As a one-serving, it is extremely strong – and only advanced lifters should consider using that dosage. Also, it would be advised to not drink the entire bottle at one time – using no more than ½ bottle at the beginning of training, and sipping the balance throughout the first half of your workout.
Can I consume your drinks on an empty stomach?
Generally speaking, it’s best to train with an empty or near empty stomach. Supplement uptake by the body is enhanced when not competing with food – and will be much more impactful. So, yes, an empty stomach is fine. – understanding you will get more of a “kick” from most any supplement you take – and you’ll have a better workout.
Why do you have Glycerin in all of your drinks?
Glycerin is a greatly undervalued ingredient that brings many positives to your training. It’s your body’s first source of energy. It hydrates your muscles and adds to your “pump”. As a transporting agent, it rapidly delivers all other ingredients to your muscles. Being a sugar alcohol, Glycerin does not spike your blood sugar or insulin (GI Rating of 4). We use 99.7% PURE liquid Glycerin in our drinks. Powders will generally use Glycerol Monostearate – which is only 60% pure
Why is no Agmatine used in Plasma Pump?
Agmatine competes with Citrulline and Citrulline Malate for the same pathway – we decided to go with Citrulline Malate instead of Agmatine. We added Beet Root to the formula (the only RTD to use Beet Root) as a “pump kicker” that uses a different pathway.
Why did you make Carbo Drive? Aren’t carb drinks ancient history?
Are Carbo drinks “old school”? - yes. Does that mean you shouldn’t use them? – no. Carbo Drive isn’t just maltodextrin and sugar like the old days. Its quality carbs that work (Glycerin and Trehalose) - giving you nutritional energy and hydration when you need it – without the “simple carb” negatives.
What are the benefits of Carbo Drive?
Carbo Drive can be used pre, or post, workout. As a pre workout, the Glycerin will give instant energy and hydrate your muscles. The added Trehalose is a sugar that has a lower GI Rating (takes three hours to breakdown in your digestive system), and, like Glycerin, will not spike your insulin or blood sugar. As a post workout, again – it will hydrate and replenish your energy and muscles – and it’s great to add BCAA’s or other post powders too, since it will speed uptake and recovery.
Why does it feel like my skin and hair are on fire when I drink Critical FX?
Because it’s a strong as shit drink - for advanced lifters. Per bottle, you have FOUR GRAMS OF BETA ALANINE – and a stack of other potent ingredients - that’ll light up just about anyone. I slammed a whole bottle (DO NOT try this at home) when testing the formula – it was a MAJOR rush. I needed to get to the gym right away to work it off. Some people don’t like that feeling – don’t buy it.
Why do you use full-disclosure of your supplement facts, while most companies don’t?
Because many companies (especially prevalent with Ready-to-Drinks) don’t want you to know exactly what they have in the product – and we DO want you to know. “Proprietary Blends” are a trick way of kinda letting you know what’s in a product – but not really. For example - a Proprietary Blend of 5000mg may have 15 ingredients listed under it (supposedly at descending levels)…maybe 4750mg of that is taken up with one or two (usually inexpensive) ingredients – and the other 250mg is fairy-dust – but you’re supposed to be impressed because of the 15 ingredients that are listed as in the product. It’s all such a game, and needs to come to an end – we’re doing our part by fully disclosing our formulas.
Why don’t you use food colors in your products?
Too much negative health concerns lately about food color. The bottles are full shrink wrapped, so no good reason to use food color. Good reasons to not use them, though. The ingredients will dictate the color of the drink – whatever it is.
Why don’t you use stimulants in Plasma Pump?
Every “pump” RTD (ready-to-drink) on the market has stims added. We wanted to give the option for those that don’t want stims. Besides, using stims in a pump drink is counter-productive for a good pump, since stims constrict blood-flow. If you want to use Plasma Pump because it has a killer formula that works – and you still want to use stims – take one of the many stimulant capsules on the market in conjunction with Plasma Pump. Otherwise – give your Adrenal’s a break.
Do any of your drinks have Nootropic factors?
Both Critical FX and Plasma Pump have mood and cognitive enhancers (n-Acetyl-l-Tyrosine, Beta Phenylethylalanine, and Taurine) in efficacious amounts that will mentally dial-you-in…and make you feel good about whatever you’re doing.
The flavor names of Plasma Pump – BigMelons and BulgeBerri – sound kind of sexist.
Yeah…they are – its BODYBUILDING!!! Deal with it…
